Spicy bread dipper
RECOMMENDED OIL
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup of robust or medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/2 teapsoon flaky sea salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
1 – 2 tablespoons parmesan or pecorino, grated.
2 tablespoons sun dried tomatoes, chopped
1 – 2 tablespoons Calabrian pickled peppers or pickled cherry peppers chopped
1 sheet focaccia, sliced
DIRECTIONS
- Place olive oil in a large shallow bowl or high-sided plate and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
- Sprinkle with minced garlic, minced onion, salt, crushed red pepper flakes, oregano, and basil.
- Top with grated parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, and pickled peppers before serving with sliced focaccia for dipping
